Meals on Wheels Atlanta’s Taste 2024
The Project
Taste is a new annual event hosted by Meals on Wheels Atlanta, created to raise funds for seniors facing hunger in our city. The event showcases Atlanta’s vibrant local food and entertainment scene, bringing together incredible talent and food vendors. As this was my first time working on the event, I wanted to center the focus back on the cause—supporting our seniors—so I developed the theme "A Recipe for Change."

The Idea
The Art Director gave me the opportunity to lead the concept and visual execution for the event, and I chose the theme "A Recipe for Change." Since food is at the heart of this event, I wanted to build on that by crafting a narrative where our community comes together to cook up a new life for seniors in need. The idea was that, together, we hold the ingredients to make meaningful change.
Visually, I aimed to highlight the urgency of the issue by incorporating Meals on Wheels delivery boxes throughout the event—each one representing a senior currently on the waitlist. Even the entrance was designed to immerse guests, having them walk through one of these oversized boxes. While not fully realized, another concept involved transforming the space into a stylized grocery store, where every product was branded to match the event with each product label outlining actions people could take to make a difference.

An evening of culinary delights from Atlanta’s hottest restaurants + chefs, live entertainment, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors in need.
Our team was responsible for the full creative execution, including digital and print ads, billboard campaigns, event invitations, day-of graphics, and overall event design concepts.

AR Integration
Developed an augmented reality experience activated via QR code, bringing the merch to life through interactive motion graphics on Instagram.
Wristband Design
Created two tiered drink pass options — Sip & Savor and Bottomless Bliss — with clear value propositions and bold callouts to emphasize the social impact (each wristband purchase contributes to providing meals).
